My Bufra and I like to eat. So we don't like to eat at very expensive restaurants with fancy-shmancy presentations but offer viands no larger than my pinky finger.
So, Al Dente to the rescue! We tried this restaurant on a whim and now we are determined to try everything on its menu. Their servings are huge (either that or baboy lang talaga kami ni Bufra kumain). What we've tried so far:
Sicilian Salad Sicilian Pork Chops with sauteed vegetables and mashed potatoes Baked Salmon with sauteed vegetables and mashed potatoes The Godfather Pizza (it's their version of the All-Meat Pizza) Three-Mushroom Soup Minestrone Soup Bruschetta Platter -- argh, to die for Potato Croquettes filled with Cheese and Pimiento Mango Cheesecake Basta, kababuyan sa sarap. The service is good, the servings are more than adequate and the price is so right. Bufra and I ordered 2 soups, 2 fruit shakes, 2 entrees, 1 appetizer and 1 salad--for under P1,000.00.
Jan and I ate here with Basil last December thinking it was an ilonggo-italian resto! How the hell right?? According to Jan, Dave told her daw. Apparently, it's an italian place owned by an ilonggo! Haaay janine talaga. :p But i like it also there :)
Yep! When I read the menu, most of their branches are in Iloilo. I believe the Bufra put it best when he said it belongs to an Italonggo! It's our new favorite baboy place.
